HAC goes "green" with recycling partnership
HAC has teamed up with recycling partner, Milled Carbon Ltd to continue the company's drive to develop environmentally friendly practices during the manufacture of their carbon composite tubes. Milled Carbon process the waste pre-preg materials and tubular products to form a re-usable form of carbon fibre for use by various industries.
NDI Exhibits at DSEi 2009
Twelve NDI members had a successful exhibition on the exciting NDI stand at DSEi 2009 establishing new contacts and furthering business in a vibrant commercial venue.
British Engineering Excellence Awards 2009
Karl Craik, a CAD engineer for HAC was shortlisted for the award of "Design Engineer of the Year 2009". The award ceremony was held at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and was hosted by former Tomorrow's World presenter Kate Bellingham with guest speakers including Sir Richard Noble.
Chairman of the Judges, Harry Tee CBE, chairman of the Electronics Leadership Council, said: “This Awards programme has given UK companies a unique opportunity to demonstrate that UK engineering – far from being defeatist and losing out to international competition – is alive and well, innovative and thriving.
