Machining, Painting and Finishing
The "natural" finish of a roll wrapped tube resembles a rat's tail due to the spiral wrapped consolidation tape leaving an impression in the cured resin. If this is undesirable or if you require machining to a given tolerance we have the capabilities right here at Hardy Advanced Composites. We offer centreless grinding, drilling, milling and blasting depending on your requirments.
We also offer a painting service using our state of the art, automated spraying facilities. Remember, we paint Hardy fishing rods so we know a thing or two about quality finishing, Hardy's reputation is built upon it.
Our inspection facility and quality systems are there to ensure that each tube reaches the customer exactly as they have specified. We supply the most discerning of customers including the UK's M.O.D. who demand the most stringent of quality checks on their components.
