Formula 1 racing team, Williams Grand Prix Racing are using carbon fibre tubes manufactured by Hardy Advanced Composites in their 2009 campaign. These non-structural tubes are fitted on Nico Rosberg's and Kazuki Nakajima's Williams-Toyota FW31 cars

Sebastian Vettel secured pole for the British Grand Prix in his updated Red Bull car as Brawn's championship leader Jenson Button struggled to land sixth.
Vettel edged Button's team-mate Rubens Barrichello into second and his own team-mate Mark Webber into third with a time of one minute 19.509 seconds. Toyota's Jarno Trulli will start Sunday's Silverstone race in fourth ahead of Williams's Kazuki Nakajimi. Starting in fifth represents a career-highest qualifying result for Japanese driver Nakajima and both Williams drivers are among the top 10 off the grid for the second time this season

HAC goes "green" with recycling partnership

HAC has teamed up with recycling partner, Milled Carbon Ltd to continue the company's drive to develop environmentally friendly practices during the manufacture of their carbon composite tubes. Milled Carbon process the waste pre-preg materials and tubular products to form a re-usable form of carbon fibre for use by various industries.
